Refund policy

At Chennai Hair Shop, customer satisfaction is our priority. We strive to deliver premium quality human hair products. Due to the hygienic nature of our products, we have specific return and refund guidelines to ensure product safety and quality for all customers.


Return Eligibility

We accept return requests within 7 days from the date of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Product is unused, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
  • Original tags, clips, accessories, and packaging are intact.
  • Hair has not been cut, colored, bleached, curled, straightened, or chemically treated.
  • Product is in resalable condition.

For hygiene reasons, products that have been used, worn, washed, styled, or altered cannot be returned or exchanged.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Used or worn hair extensions
  • Washed or styled products
  • Customized or specially made products
  • Products with removed tags or damaged packaging
  • Gift cards (if applicable)

Damaged, Defective or Wrong Product

If you receive:

  • A damaged product
  • A defective product
  • The wrong item
  • An item with a manufacturing defect

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us process your request quickly, please provide:

  • Order Number
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • An unboxing video (recommended)

Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund where applicable at no additional cost.


Exchanges

We offer exchanges only for:

  • Damaged products
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Incorrect items shipped

Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.


Refunds

Once your returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
  • Refunds are generally completed within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


Return Shipping Charges

If the return is due to:

  • Wrong item shipped
  • Damaged item
  • Manufacturing defect

We will bear the return shipping cost.

If the return is requested for any other eligible reason, the customer will be responsible for return shipping charges.


Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before they are shipped.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.


International Orders

For international orders:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or an incorrect item was shipped.
  • Customs duties and import taxes are non-refundable.
